  1. Create the folder where you want your screenshots to be stored. It is ok, leave it empty at the moment.
  2. Go to Finder
  3. Go to Applications
  4. Go to Utilities
  5. Go to Terminal
  6. Enter the following command: defaults write com.apple.screencapture location
  7. Now enter a space after “location” and drag the folder you created over to Terminal (which will insert the file path of the folder), or enter the location yourself.
  8. Hit Enter on your keyboard
  9. Enter the command: killall SystemUIServer
  10. Press Enter again
  11. You’re done.
