In September 2011, Telstra unveiled its new brand positioning which sees its blue and orange logo move to multiple colours.
The Telstra logo does not get rid of all aspects of the original Telstra logo first registered by the company more than 18 years ago, inspired by a unique antenna dish. After so many years of blue and orange, Telstra launched a new identity that captured the diversity of its products, services and customers and created a stronger and more emotional connection with its customers.
A new Telstra logo colour was chosen to reflect the energy, diversity and emotion that customers experience when all the different parts of their lives are better connected.
The result is a newly updated branding identity that incorporates the full spectrum of colours, tones and emotions allowing the brand to communicate with greater meaning and with the flexibility to talk to different customers at different times, in a manner that’s not only relevant but also engaging.
